Mission Impossible: Fallout, the latest in the action franchise starring Tom Cruise in the lead, is one of the best yet in the series. It has a good plot, amazing action sequences, fast cars, super cool bikes, breath-taking views and convincing acting by some well-known names in Hollywood. Ethan Hunt and the IMF team join forces with CIA assassin August Walker to prevent a disaster of epic proportions. Arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorists known as the Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

Ethan stands out as a man with a conscience, a man who is willing to take risks for his team and go against his directives to save the World and his team members. To him, every life is precious, and he goes all out to fulfill his objectives. The plot has links to the earlier installment of the franchise – Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and the story has its own share of twists and turns. It is unpredictable, and that is what makes this movie worth watching.

Tom Cruise has done a commendable job in his portrayal of Ethan Hunt; his death-defying and age-defying stunts are a treat to watch on the big screen. The rest of the cast have excelled in their own capacity and, together, they have put up a well-coordinated and convincing act. Mission Impossible: Fallout is a must-watch and has set a new benchmark in the genre of action movies.
